Faith & Healing at Basileia

"What does it mean to make an adult decision to follow Jesus?"

Jaiden was longing to know what life with God was like. The reality is that Jesus had been showing him gently throughout his time at Basileia.

Jaiden was one of fifteen Hunter College students who came to Basileia with a desire to grow in their life with God and one another. This community was a gift to Jaiden. During the second day, Jesus invited him to forgive a friend that had hurt him deeply, and he felt peace. Later that night, Jaiden responded to an invitation to follow Jesus with his whole life! Praise God!

Then, the next day, there was an opportunity to receive prayer for healing and Jaiden stood up. He had a tailbone injury that plagued him for the last 7 months and he had a cushion he carried everywhere to help bring him comfort when he sat down. During that time of prayer, Jaiden received physical healing and hasn't needed his cushion since!

God was so generous to Jaiden throughout his time at Basileia - this is just one snapshot of Jesus' goodness to students during our chapter retreat!
