About Ministry at Rutgers University
Rutgers University-New Brunswick is the largest school in New Jersey, with over 36,000 undergraduate students spread out over five campuses that cover two cities, with a river in between. InterVarsity has a rich 70+ year history on campus, with an established chapter and two chapter plants currently active.
Unique Opportunities
Residents at Rutgers-New Brunswick will gain ministry experience in multiple contexts all at one school: from developing leaders, investing in freshmen and small groups at a catalytic chapter, to planting ministry in unreached corners of campus. We long to engage the whole campus, and also have focused ministry opportunities reaching Asian American students and those in Greek Life. Residents will work side-by-side with our staff and volunteer team to establish and advance a vibrant ministry on this diverse and exciting campus.
