With over 18,000 students, Binghamton University is a public university with students from 100 or more countries attending. With a diverse and active student body, the ministry opportunities at Binghamton are vast. InterVarsity has a rich 50 year history at Binghamton, with an established chapter that longs to grow in love for God and share God's love with every corner on campus.
Unique Opportunities
Serving at Binghamton University, residents will gain a range of ministry experience from mobilizing outreach,developing small groups, starting prayer meetings, and coaching student leaders. The resident will be supported by an experienced Campus Staff Minister and a seasoned ministry trainer on site. As part of an area staff team, residents will participate in exciting ministry initiatives that will reach other neighboring campuses across Central and Eastern NY.

Upstate New York is filled with exciting outdoor opportunities such as hiking, skiing, and more! Our area team loves to get together to celebrate holidays and meet every summer to pray and plan for the new year. We love serving together, but also enjoy sporting activities together, such as kayaking!
